Our Christmas Party in Don Bosco Technical College is an action packed party but a waste free one as well. Our goal for the event was to have a Christmas party without generating large amounts of wastes. To describe how we did it here's how:
The Venue
The venue should be non other than the school itself particularly the classroom. This is because the place is accessible and the place is easy to manage as well, so if ever waste is going to be generated, it can be easily disposed of.
The Foods
Of course a party is not a party without meals, so we planned to have a buffet style of ready to eat foods which are not contained in individual wrappers and the like. These foods are Bilaos of Pansit, Mais con Yelo, Whole chicken and more, drinks are bought as well but the plastic cups and utensils are encouraged not to be thrown away because we will use them every time we would want to eat and we are not allowed to get fresh plastic cups or utensils.
The Event
The event was meaningful and Fun, to show you how much fun it is, here's an embedded link:

Games like agawan base, egg-relay and longest line may be old school but they are definitely fun. I felt like my age was rewound by ten years and it felt so refreshing
