The Shell Eco Marathon 2014 is a new season of Eco-Marathon in which the participants are required to make a car which can run the longest distance at a given volume of fuel. Several countries battle it all out for the win but behind the competition itself, the event is actually an eye opener for fuel economy, Here's the story:
Entrance of the Venue
The even was held last February in Luneta Park Philippines. For the first time, Philippines will be handling the event so it is really an interesting event because our home country is the host.
As clearly shown, our country which is very historical now holds another historical event in its record books. But this time, modern technology is the main focus of the event, particularly the fuel economy strategies of each participant in the marathon.
A lot of participants are involved and of course our school team: Ascende Superius is also a participant. Every modern techniques of car making are at hand by the team which made them highly competitive.
The three images shown are the previous designs of the Shell Eco marathon. It's very interesting to know that these kinds of designs transcend time because they are still being used up to this date.
Over all I find the event to be excellent as well as very enjoying
